Si hay algo realmente necesario en esta vida es estar a gustito en el lugar donde pasamos el mayor tiempo del día. Si sois unos auténticos seres de las cavernas como es mi caso, supongo que también andaréis bien cerquita del PC durante muchas horas, así que entenderéis lo importante que es el estar cómodo ahí y no acabar pillandole asco a ese maldito rincón que nos atrofia el cuerpo, especialmente si a su vez es vuestro lugar de trabajo.

Con poco dinero y algo de ingenio podemos conseguir crear un escritorio la mar de apañado y conseguir un ambiente muy agradable con poquita decoración. En base a mi experiencia (y mira que son años ya) cuanto menos recargado de objetos tengo el lugar, más paz mental siento. Y mira que todavía podría prescindir de mucho de lo que conservo, pero tendríais que haber visto mi rincón especial hace unos cuantos años eones atrás… Más cargado que la feria del pueblo en Navidad.

Lo que os traigo aquí es una demostración DIY de como monté una mesa con estilo industrial. Para ello me basté de una tabla, cuatro patas y tubos de PVC los cuales pinté con spray efecto hierro. Ciertamente se consigue una estética mucho más chula y realista si compramos tubos de cañería metálicos, pero desgraciadamente no encontré nada en mi ciudad.

También os voy a mostrar como tengo organizado el setup de mi escritorio con los periféricos y objetos que siempre suelo tener en él (y una lista bien hermosa más abajo para que ojeéis los productos mencionados).

If there is something really necessary in this life, it’s to be comfortable in the place where we spend the most time of the day. If you are human being of the dark cavern as me, I guess you will also stay very close to the computer for many hours, so you will understand how important it’s to be comfortable there and not end up hating that damn corner that atrophies the body, especially if it’s your work space at the same time.

With little money and some ingenuity we can create an useful desk and get a very nice atmosphere with a little decoration. Based on my experience, the less recharged of objects I have the place, the more peace of mind I achieve. And look, I could still do without much of what I keep, but you should have seen my special corner a few years ago… More stuff than a Christmas festival.

What I bring to you here is a DIY demonstration of how I set up a table with industrial style. For this I had enough of a board, four legs and PVC tubes which I painted with an iron effect spray. Certainly a much more cool and realistic aesthetic is achieved if we buy metal pipes, but unfortunately I ddn’t find anything in my town.

I will also show you how I have organized the desktop setup with the peripherals and objects that I always have in it (and a beautiful list below for you to browse the mentioned products).
